What Is PSYPACT®?

    • The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT®) is an agreement between states that allows psychologists to work with clients online or temporarily in-person, even if they are in different states.

    • It is the group in charge of PSYPACT®. They make the rules and give psychologists permission to work with clients online or temporarily in person, even if they are in different states.

    • To offer telepsychology services in PSYPACT® states, psychologists who are already licensed in these states can apply to the PSYPACT® Commission for an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT®).

    • They need to get an E.Passport Certificatefrom The Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) as part of this process.
